Calls for applications: fellowships at the Paris Institute for Advanced Study (2023-2024)
Applications for research fellowships at the Paris Institute for Advanced Study in 2023-2024 are now open. These 10-month fellowships offer a unique opportunity to high-level international researchers holding a PhD for at least two years to carry out a project in an interdisciplinary community, while benefiting from the very rich scientific and intellectual environment of Paris.
Our main, non-thematic call is open to researchers in all disciplines in the social sciences and humanities. All themes are eligible, but priority will be given to projects dealing with societal issues. We also accept projects at the interface between neurosciences or cognitive sciences and the SSH.
One position is also open for the Sorbonne University – Paris IAS Chair on “Major changes” focusing on the impacts and ethical issues of artificial intelligence and/or the environmental transition. For this Chair, applicants must benefit from a support letter from a researcher of Sorbonne University or one of its labs.
More information on the calls can be found on the Paris IAS’s website: https://www.paris-iea.fr/en/apply/calls-for-applications
The deadline for applications for both calls is June 2, 2022.
